Here’s a rather nice Pennine 531 throughout fixie that I’ve been riding for a while.

23” (c-to-top) it’s sorted and ready to ride. It’s very smooth and very light.

Gearing is 42-18 (63”) which gets me up most of the hills around here.

Campag headset. Stronglight chainset, Shimano 105 brakes with aero levers. Mis-matched hubs with Weinmann Alesa 27” rims back and front. Blumels “lightweight” guards. Cinelli stem, Mavic bars. Micro adjust seat post, Brooks saddle (which is tired but comfortable). Pedals are NOT included in the sale.

Built by Pennine in 1991 in Reynolds 531 ST, double butted throughout, with 531 forks (it cost of £325 for frame/forks only – I have the receipt) the frame is in very clean condition with only a few little chips. NO dents or dings. There are brazings for gears and there is a gear hanger. The rear wheel has a freewheel thread too so the fixed could be changed back.

 Columbus drop-outs back and front. Rear ones are horizontal and give plenty of chain adjustment. I have had no wheel-pullover as there is a serration to the rear track nuts and I have fitted a serrated washer to the INSIDE of the drive-side axle.

Sorted and ready at a price of £325 this has to be a bargain (just check the rubbish you can buy new for £600 + )
